Super Trooper

I am looking into purchasing a Super Trooper as the second ball in an arsenal that I am considering. I've done a great deal of web research on the ball, and I wanted to know if anyone at present is still throwing the ball, and could provide more updated feedback other than what is currently on the ballreviews. com site?

The Super Trooper is what I would consider an "honest ball". It will keep you out of trouble when the lanes are flaky and is fairly good on medium/medium light to semi dry conditions.  

The Superflex coverstock is a proven stock.  This I believe is a solid version (Columbia does not reference whether it is solid or not).  Working with the coverstock quite a bit, I would say it is a solid and looks like it has a magical dusting of some derivation of very very light non abrasive crystalline (don't know, please enlighten me, if you know).  I also like the removal of any flip blocks... it will roll earlier and has an earlier mid lane transition move.

One thing I didn't like was the pronounced Silver Sparkle Engraving etchings (the highest markings I've ever seen on a ball), which caused me and my ball driller a shet fit.  My drilling, the CG was kicked out towards the PAP, which unfornately skipped me right over the very raised silver little super trooper drawing etching.  I had to resurface the ball like three times to smooth out the etching as not to get the sound of very small tire chains as it hit a certain area in the track. (high rolling track)

All is cool in KeglerXland with this ball.  One of my favorites.  What ever your hand does to the ball, it kindly returns the favor.  Thus, Honest! Love it. Superflex is great.

As part of most of these spoof posts...YOU KNOW the guy knows more about bowling than he is trying to act like.  The Super Troop and Trooper are long gone balls.  That is what these posts are all about.

Knowledgeable guys playing sort of dumb...and then posting weird conclusions.

I and MANY others have no idea what you are talking about.  Where is your proof?  By the way, how is your investigation going on me and my "mutliple ids".  If your claim is found to be incorrect, will you post that you were wrong?

Seems to make sense to me that if this guy is a beginner who has been bowling with a white dot, the Trooper/Super Trooper comment is an honest mistake.  He probably doesn't know that they are two different balls and just typed Trooper as an abbreviation.

Not everything on this site or the internet is a conspiracy or spoofing, as you seem to believe it is.  Lighten Up man.

This is Billy2Gun...my real name is Curtis [BTW].

I do know the difference between a Trooper and a Super Trooper. I've researched both. Point of clarification..I am seeking a 14lb. Columbia 300 Super Trooper-NIB to compliment my Columbia 300 14lb. White Dot. Given the various and generous feedback from the more experienced bowlers on this post/forum, my decision to purchase a SUPER Trooper, not a Trooper has been solidified. However, I do appreciate as much feedback about the ball [The Super Trooper] as possible...information is ammunition.

Spare Ball: White Dot
Dry: Hammer Vibe-Blue
Light to Medium Oil: The Super Trooper
Medium Oil: Roto-Grip Venus
Medium to Heavy Oil: Roto-Grip Horizion Solid
Heavy Oil: ????

If you are looking for a Super Trooper, I know my brother has one in his proshop, and I can let you know the weight say Monday.  If memory serves me right, I think it is a 14.  I can also give you a final price when he gets back into town.
