just seen wes in the doubles tourney at six flags. he was using 1of the new balls and was playing way deeper than everyone else. all the others were playing outside line and wes was about 15 to 20 boards deeper. impressed with the hooking power of the ball. lanes looked slick, even tj couldn't get his to hook as much as usual. all the big hookers couldn't even get close to where wes was playing. if anyone else was there, could you let me know what he was throwing. looked blue with gold and another color.

if you have to adjust the surface, you either bought the wrong ball or you can't adjust

Pearl/Solid, same difference. And no, I was not there. I just have heard the description, and that sounds like the ball.

oh ok, the ball looked very impressive. excellent hook and hitting power. this will be a winner as long as the cover lasts. not knocking col 300, I have a ricochet rebound still going strong with over 500 games.

lol, you have no idea what I was even stating. I stated pearl because it could of been a pearl. Usually Columbia comes out with a solid and a pearl version of the same balls. So be cool kid.

In these new covers. Some of the pearls read the lane alot like solids and vise versa. You are starting to see the companies do some hybrids. The real questions is not whether a ball is solid or pearl, but what the ball performance is.Ithink sometimes we get caught up whether its a pearl or solid.
