Action Packed drillings
« on: October 21, 2006, 11:51:36 AM »
any suggestions for drilling of the action packed??
I just got 2 of them.  one 2-3" pin and another 4-5" with top weights of around 2.
I am going to be bowling at mainly old wood centres that are pretty dry.

yea for the shorter pin one, that'd be a good idea.  im really curious about that long pin action packed.  I am wondering if I don't kick the cg out so far and put the pin above the bridge could I use it for playing a swing in dry??

The layout you suggested for the longer pin one might work but a weight whole will more then likely be needed. I would say if you want a good layout for swinging it and having it come back nice and hard on the backend. I would say go with a pin above bridge drilling at about 1" above. Then have the cg kicked out at about say 45 degrees and try to keep it within 1" from the center of the grip. If you want to see a photo of this layout ask fasttracker33 for a photo of his action packed. That is almost the layout I suggested, only maybe a little to close to the bridge on his.
