Title: Columbia 300 Summer Releases
Post by: EL3MCNEIL on May 05, 2015, 01:52:48 PM
Columbia has shown what they are releasing so far this summer. Two new colors for the Deep Freeze line, and new and all black Scout/R and a red, white, and blue White Dot.

Not what I expected from the initial announcement, but I do like the all black Scout/R and could probably use it for the extremely burnt lanes and as a spare ball.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a new asymm, I think the Antics line is done

I think people liked the performance of the Antic's but there was a lot of grumbling about the color schemes they had.

Why do people grumble about flashy colors? I would rather have a flashy ball that I can see rolling down lane than a solid color ball. I use lime green finger inserts in everything because they are visible.

It depends on how the colors look or swirl. I had a Hammer Absolut Curve that is a solid with darker colors but they swirled weird so I couldn't read it too well. I have a Blur Pearl that's bright yellow and green but I can see what it's doing.

It all just depends on each ball

My first wrecker was easy to read, the second not so much

I like the way my Ride looks because it's easy to read. There's a couple others being thrown in my house and they aren't as easy to read with how much silver they have and the way it mixes.

My favorite ball in terms of being easy to read for me was my 900 global bounty. The navy blue and copper mixed really well with the core movement
