Coming soon to pro shops. WWRD date is May 31, 2016. Coming in 4 different colors.
Ball is low/mid performance symmetric
RG and diff on 15# is 2.55 with .033 diff.
-
Interesting.
This is the 4th brand to come out recently with a low end ball with this RG, 2.55, and roughly this differential (.030-.033):
Brunswick Rhino
Storm Match
Roto-Grip Hustle

I had been wondering if Columbia was going to release anything or wait until Expo. Their site has a huge gap between the Scout line and the Delirium line because they discontinued the Freezes and Blurs. Guess I got my answer.

Added info:
Columbia 300 Nitrous features brand new technology in both the core and coverstock. The two-piece Nitrous core design offers predictability without sacrificing hitting power while the new Boost/R cover provides the gripping power needed on medium to light oil patterns.

columbia300 has a pic on instagram of the nitrous. pretty nice looking.

Hope they're better than the pictures of the Nitrous on their web site. Those depictions are not attractive at all.

I hope the red/silver one looks like that Track 05 series ball did. I loved the way that ball looked, but me and the shuttle core didnt get along, so I didnt buy one.
If this looks as good as that did, I might try one.

It looks very similiar to the track mx05. Sharp looking ball.

Look for to getting one. Great looking bowling balls.

So would it be safe to assume that the Nitrous is slightly stronger than the Deep Freeze and yet slightly weaker than the Blurs?

That's my thinking. For me the Blur series was a little rolly, I think the Nitrous would be a little sharper in the back and more than the Deep Freeze

A little sharper, yes. Nothing out of this world though. From what I see so far, it's going to be quite the solid drier lane piece for me!
