I had been wanting to try Columbia for a little while, finally traded for a NIB Blur Pearl thinking it might be the money ball I've been looking for on our house shot.
Got it back from being drilled last night right before league, dual angle approximately 65 x 4 x 35 which is almost the same as my Blue Vibe that I love. I scuffed the surface by hand a little bit with a used 1000 abralon pad I had in my bag as the surface was a little too shiny for what I normally like.
Decided to throw the ball even though the thumb was too tight, ended up shooting 640 and that was with struggling to get the ball off my thumb. I can't wait to open up the thumb today and throw it some more. I saw good length and a strong move on the backend that didn't quit, carry was definitely high percentage. There were a few balls I thought had a 10 pin coming when I missed and the ball just ripped the rack.

Columbia has some really good pieces. The Blur line is good as well as the Eruptions. The Violent is my favorite and heard nothing but really good things about the Pro Hybrid. I also have a Take Down I really like when the lanes are a little tighter and I can square up (only because it is pin below the fingers to smooth out the reaction shape) and look forward to both the Deep Freeze and Melt Down.
IMO, though, they need to keep the Deep Freeze and discontinue the regular Freeze since they have the Blur line.

I've heard good things about them as well. I know bowlers who have been raving about the "Down" line, especially the semi-new Throw Down. Happy you found a ball that gives you what you need.

The Throw Down is actually the ball I've been looking at for something a little stronger

Shot 247-280-255 for 782 subbing tonight. I love the way this ball rolls

676 Wednesday in our men's league and a clean 743 tonight in mixed league. I've averaged 237 in league since getting the Blur Pearl.
Found my house shot answer

How do you play it with the THS in your house?

I'm about 15 out to 7/8 and so far I've only had to migrate left a little bit as the night goes on maybe 5 boards total during our men's league and I probably could have gone a couple more as I was still in the pocket but left a couple 4 pins and 9 pins that stopped some strings

717 last night and 720 subbing tonight. Ball just keeps striking.
Columbia has really impressed me with their releases the past year, glad I decided to try one
