Throttle discontinued????!!!

All of the online proshops I checked still sell it. Columbia does not have another heavy oil particle in its line. Would they discontinue it and count on 2 reactive balls (Full Throttle and Bully) to be their heavy oilers? That seems a little crazy to me. IMHO the Throttle is a very good heavy oil ball. I'd be disappointed if it's discontinued without another particle to take it's place. Maybe there's a Bully particle in the future? Anyone know?

Columbia has not had very much success with the majority of their particles. It wouldn't suprise me if they cut out a few.

The only Throttles in the series that are not discontinued are the Full Throttle and the Throttle/R

Throttle/R stays?? gotta get another!!

the alter ego i find is actually a really good heavier oil ball. it's not quite as aggressive cover, but the core is strong.

What's wrong with the Alter Ego?  This ball hooks alot, doing very well for my customers, keep some surface on it.

I'm sure that there's nothing wrong with it, I've never tried it. But looking at Columbia's own ratings it appears to be much weaker in oil (and overall) than the Throttle. Is that not the case?
