Title: Greatest ball in the modern era Columbia300

I would have to say the Rival. But you can use longevity, oil pattern use, or what ever you want.

I know its all about sales, but I still have problems understanding why a ball thats so good for so many people gets discontinued.

I think the op meant modern day C300 since being purchased by Ebonite.  I would have to say the Resurgence because of its versaltility and accepts cover changes well.

Rival is good, but in my opinion it has to be the Momentum Swing, ball is great OOB, and the surface is really easy to adjust, very predictable and with each surface adjustment you get a different look

EPX when there is oil on the lane.  No ball out hooks it when there is a ton of oil.

I've been praising The Rival since the ball came out. I think it's the only ball that can play any condition. From THS to PBA experience. Simply the best!

Perfect Rival is the best newer one just got a Power Swing way too much ball for the USBC Masters shot I used it on yesterday.

Gonna try the PS out tonight on the medium fresh shot and see if I can swing it and bring it

Hard to say really cause there are so many i like.  Right now i would have to go a 3 way tie between the Momentum, Dead Flush, and the Wrath SF

I will probably be the only who loved this ball:  Full Throttle

Everyone seemed to hate it, I wish I still had it.

Maybe this thread should be retitled, "Best Columbia ball under Ebonite ownership".

I can't decide.

The problem for me with the EPX is knowing when to put it back in the Bag...I have rarely got more than one game on this ball. Maybe I just never bowled on a REAL HEAVY OIL PATTERN). The ball is a BEAST!!!

For those who like the Rival where does fit compared to other Columbia balls. It appears to me it is close to a Big Shot or am I off base.
