Competing with other brands

Do you think Columbia's new gear is competing well with the other companies gear? Do you think they can stand with Storm and Brunswick and Ebonite?

I see them as a Secondary since the move to Ebonite I haven't tried any of their new gear yet and really have no interest to I am just curoius what other people think.

Having only 4 balls, Resurgence, Rival, Wrath and Jazz, I'd say they have a decent to a very good beginning, but as yet are not in the competitive ball park for a full line of choices. I'm not talking about having so many balls you can't make up your mind, but to have some alternatives without having to drill 6" pins and make complex surface changes from the original ball.

Examples of the types of balls I'd like to see:
- a milder solid resin coverstock with a lower flaring core.
- a polished resin pearl with a lower RG and higher flare potential (than the Wrath).
- a true control ball resin or particle. Control balls do not have to be weak balls for light oil only. This is something Ebonite lacks in all the lines they make/design.
