Shiny or Pearl Ball
« on: February 17, 2004, 11:40:28 PM »

I am a senor bowler with slow speed and average revs.  I usually carry a 190+/- average.  I am looking for a shiny or pearl ball that I can throw from an inside line that will have a strong backend or a strong skid snap.  Presently I am using an Ebonite Tornado and a Hammer Blade reactive.  The Tornado is not quite strong enough for a medium condition and the Blade hooks to early.

The oil pattern has an out of bounds from 10 to the gutter.  The middle of the lanes are medium.

My question is, would one of the Wicked's be a good choice?  If so, which one?  I've seen the original and it looks like a strong ball.  Don't know much about the B/R/T.  I need to stick with shiny equipment because of my slow speed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Which Tornado are you talking about?  The Blue (seafoam) is stronger than a lot of people thought.  The red pearl is weaker.

The original Wicked would be the best choice in my opinion.  It will get pretty good length and a healthy backend.  The BRT is earlier and stronger overall and would be pretty close to the Blade.

Sorry about that.  I've got the blue saefoam Tornado.
