got the big bully to "hook again"
« on: February 09, 2005, 01:10:50 PM »
I loved the reaction I got from the Big Bully right out of the box.  Absolutely amazing, but after about 30-35 games, it downright stopped hooking.  I didn't think it would do it since it was just a reactive.  No, I didnt clean it after every match...

So, I put it in the ebonite hook again stuff... Got it out before league tonight and the out of the box reaction has returned!!! I will now clean it after every match because the reaction is killer.  It's the only non-Bruns ball I have in my bag..

Just thought you like to know that the ebonite hook again does work and make sure you take care of the big bully and it will take care of you.

If you like the Hook again, try the new CPR treatment made by Columbia. The process only takes 1 hour, and the cost is around $15.

Where can I find some information on this?

Is it similar to Hook Again??? Same procedure???

My suppliers are listing the CPR treatment and I'll have some coming in soon. I have to see this to believe it.

It is due for release within the next week or so I think.

Jeff, how can you not know whether your ICON 300 has 500 games or 750 games? Did you lease it to someone? Was it stolen and returned to you ? Hehehehe....

So, is Columbia still having problems with their coverstock dyeing.  I used to be a big Columbia fan but haven't bought one since The particle death syndrome of tec  covers.  Their Bully line and DRIVE line are very interesting, but I am hesitant to buy from a company who needs to sell a hook again or cpr rejuvenators.  That is admitting their is a problem with coverstock longevity.

Introducing a product like the CPR is not admitting that your coverstocks are faulty. It's called gaining market share. How many ball remedies are out there? Revivor, Hook Again, Doc's?  Columbia is just trying to get a piece of the pie.

I like my Bully just fine, I've got about 100 games on it and not a single problem, I've even gone from using it at 1000 to using it with a high gloss, very versatile.
