« on: March 11, 2004, 08:09:22 PM »
Hi I am currently trying to build an arsenal for myself.  I have ordered a Full throttle, now im looking for a ball for medium - medium dry lanes. Also a dry lane ball.  Any suggestions?  I would like to stay with columbia

For mediums, I use a 15lb. Wicked B/R/T with very good results.  Pin is just to the right of my ring finger with the cg swung out to the right about 1 inch.  The results were okay with the box finish, but really improved for me when I took it down to 400 grit and then polished it, giving me a nice arc with pop on the back at 14-15 mph.  Slow it down and it will still handle a little more oil than medium, but probably a little too much ball for dry unless you have pretty good speed.

well either my definition of dry is different than everyone elses or i just have too much hand for the ball.  but for me it is more of a light to medium oil ball.  great ball.  just not the ball i expected it to be.
