Mini review on Messenger Titanium Lightweight

On a suggestion from another webmaster, let me repost this poke somewhere else.

Specs on this ball 8lbs 1/4 ozs, with a .5" pin and .1 oz side weight after drill.

Well since I'm so poor to buy my own equipment, King was nice enough to let me use his 8 pounder. To make the ball more "universal" for the both of us to throw, we drilled out the entire bridge so the whole is big enough to fit three fingers in. Don't ask me how this ball is still legal but it is.

On to the lanes I go turning the ball as hard as I could when I noticed this ball had some sort of radar for the gutter. If I stood far right it would HOOK, and I mean HOOK right off the lanes to the left gutter. If I stood on the left gutter thinking that would work, the ball would back off towards the right gutter....strange.

I decided to throw this ball over hand since it was so light and then began pounding the hole. I finished a terrible first game off good and then continued striking. Man, you should see this ball in action, if at any time the ball bounced over the pins it would hit the pin curtain, bounce back, and take out what's left. I managed to shoot a perfect game because of that "Pinball" effect the ball gave me.

So here I am extra excited about the fact I may be able to shoot a 700 with this gem when out of no where my fingers get stuck in that massive whole. The ball sky rocketed in the air so high I hit the scoring computer. King and I watched as it shattered into a million pieces.

All you guys were right, this ball CAN and WILL make money, for the person you're bowling against with it.

My final scores for the evening were 72, 300, and 1.....the one being the computer I killed.

Great ball over all, just don't recommend rolling this one, the over hand toss is much better.

So, you must have racked up a bunch of points for totaling those cars.  What was your final series for the night?  Probably somewhere near 6734 with that killed clown in there huh?

Yeah that Titanium, or Uranium nugget inside the ball does weird things to the lanes.  Even though the ball is purple, it glowed green while flying down the lane.  One of my pocket hits the pins actually melted into a pool of plastic and the wood caught fire.

I don't know where King got this ball from but it sure does keep the competition away.  Some of the open bowlers were rushed to the hospital with I guess radiation poisoning.

Hey A_P_K,

I wanna be the first to say,well type GREAT review!

I mean that,like I typed in another post,if I have to in the FUTURE,
umm,well,if and when I'm ready.It will be in the Company Ball Section.

No one will make waves and IT STILL gets to get to be seen too!

Dont let no one stand in your way when you wannna EXPRESS yourself.

If you(aka or anyone) wants and has a CRAVING to review,then DO IT!!!!

I have no problem with anyones reviews,no matter where they are.

BTW,8 lbs,danggggggg!!That's a light ball for a bowler at BR.

Have you heard, after the Uranium, they are coming out with the "Hydrogen Bomb".  Only good for one use, explodes at the pins (literally) guaranteed to get you that 12th strike.

LMAO!  That was too hilarious......

Hey Phil, do you know where I can get me one of those Hydrogen Bombs......the last time i hit the first 11 in a row I was left with a stone 7 pin.

Well it didn't get too bad for me but my hair fell out.  It's ok because I got tired of getting hair cuts every two weeks, the only bad part is all my hair fell out....I'm completely bald from head to toe.  I look like a giant new born baby.  It's a good thing I didn't opt for the 16 pounder because I heard the neutron capacity in that thing was great enough to wipe out every bowling alley in the world excpet for one.  Then we'd have to sign up for 50 man teams.

Yeah, when I was reading this topic, I kept thinking that I had seen a ball with a uranium core before.  So I did a Google search and found it.  Used to be posted in alt.sport.bowling

Ok...King and I are off to another pair for more testing, lucky for us the proprietors of the other place didn't make us pay for the dead computer.

Anyways, we decided to come up with an idea that would make this ball roll with total control.  What King suggested is that we put a 9 volt DC RC motor in it to make the ball remote controlled.  

Damn that kid is smart, so off we were building our 9 volt motor, stuck it in that massive hole and plugged it with quick crete.  To top it off we dyno tested the motor at 375 HP.  We were surprised at the outcome to say the least, but now our task at hand was to find the perfect radio for it.

After sneaking in and out of CIA headquarters successfully we managed to run away with one radio not FCC legal for accepting and giving off interference.  This translates into the most radio waves illegally allowed to travel through the air.

Ok, so here we are about to test this bad boy out, I put the ball down on the lanes, turn it on and watch as we were able to draw figure eights on the lane.  When all of a sudden, out of no where the ball short circuits and blows up into 12 pieces.  Well what do you know all 12 of these pieces hit the pins on 12 different lanes.  Holycow....both of us managed to throw 300 in one ball!!!

Does ABC allow two people to fill out the same form?

Anyways we're out of a masterpiece so if anyone has an extra Messenger Titanium/Uranium Light Weight in say maybe 25lbs....I'd like to see how that'll roll down the lanes.
