Title: NEED A GOOD BALL IN OIL
Post by: wbronco63 on January 13, 2005, 11:01:20 AM
I struggle in oil and am looking for a ball that will hook in it.  I throw with low revs.  Which drilling options are there with the balls  so i can get the most hook with my low revs?

if you are willing to spend money then go with the big bully or full throttle

for a little cheaper then go with the alter ego or Shock, ask you pro for drilling

when all else fails, go to your spare ball

Alter ego, strong aggressive cover and strong asymtermical core.

bully with a little surface is probably the best, if your speed matches up, the big bully is decent for heavy oil.

I really like the Alter Ego for oil. The Shock is also a good oil ball if the surface is right. No matter which ball you get, just make sure the surface is right. Try a few different grits and find one that suits you.

I like my Full Throttle in the heavy oil. The problem is not too often that I get to see heavy oil.

Goliath.

No, joe isn't a staffer yet, but he wanted to be like the other kids and change his name to Bruns-whatever.

How is the Big Bully versatility wise in covering different conditions? Have any of you people with the ball experienced massive burn up with the ball having no midlane and super weak backend like many claim to have avec l'ultimate inferno?

Grab your balls and let's get bowling

the ball needs some oil to get out, but i was bowling on toast, throwing hard with little revs and still had amazing carry, for me the ball has been exceptional, this ball has a tendency for me to hit to hard and have to much drive and leave 9 or 8 pins
