Anyone have info on this ball?  Seen it on Buddies but not on C300 website.

I did some research and found that this ball is merely just a recolored Benchmark with a 2000 grit Abralon finish as opposed to the 4000 grit finish the original Benchmark came with.  Aside from that, there are no other differences.  It was an exclusive ball made for Buddies.

The Benchmark Traction is currently available from Buddies and BowlerX. More information:

The benchmark reaction is something that bowlers have come to expect from Columbia 300 for decades. Columbia 300 has been the bowler’s choice for benchmark bowling balls so often throughout history that we decided to finally call the ball what it really is… the Benchmark! The engineers at Columbia 300 understand that when naming a ball the Benchmark, the performance must live up to its name. New Standard Reactive was used in the previous Benchmark and we've added a traction additive that allows this ball to bite through more oil.

N.S.R. Traction
This cover is finished with four stages on our Power House surface machines; 800, 800 Abranet, 1000, 1000 Abralon.

Tri-Rib Core
The Columbia 300 Tri-Rib core is symmetric in shape with a medium RG and medium to high Differential. The Tri-Rib core provides the numbers you look for in a Benchmark ball and will work with the widest variation of styles. This core was previously used in Columbia 300’s high performance Power Swing ball.

What To Expect
The 1000 Abralon finish on an already aggressive cover will provide you with a ball motion that will handle heavier league or tournament patterns. The smooth and predictable benchmark motion will be a great addition to anyone’s bag and will work exceptionally well for lower rev rates and higher speeds.

Weight RofG Diff RG

16 lbs 2.520 0.043
15 lbs 2.510 0.052
14 lbs 2.530 0.054
13 lbs 2.530 0.055
12 lbs 2.600 0.039

Hope this helps!

Buddies blurb on this ball says they added a "traction additive", not just a different surface!

"New Standard Reactive was used in the previous Benchmark and we’ve added a traction additive that allows this ball to bite through more oil . This cover is finished with four stages on our Power House surface machines; 800, 800 Abranet, 1000, 1000 Abralon."
"None are so blind as those who will not see."
