Kinda looks like a Total NV.

Nice looking pill.

Is this merely a polished Resurgence or does it have it's own subtle nuances?

Momentum is the next generation in ball performance from the new Columbia 300.  The Momentum was designed to compliment the already popular Resurgence.  This ball features the same core (Resurgence) with a new coverstock that we have dubbed ¡¥Ne2¡¨(New Era 2)  This combination comes polished and will provide great length with a strong arc though the pins.  The Ne2 shell is special because of the contact area it creates with the lane.  This contact area provides more friction in oil so much friction; we polished it to move all the power to the end of the oil pattern and the backend of the lane.  This ball provides the same smooth arc to the pins as the Resurgence only later on the lane.

Momentum is a three-color pearl (Purple/Orange/red) ball that is available in 12 -16 lbs.

DR3W are you sure the RG's and Diff are accurate according to your post?  According to columbia's website it looks like the numbers should be reversed for the 16 and 14LB balls.

Took the info from the PBA site, so I would guess that the Columbia site is a little more reliable.

Has anyone seen a price on this ball yet?
I'm surprised bowling.com hasn't listed it yet.

Another thing, I wonder how this ball will compare to the Rival?
I was thinking about buying 1 for myself (replace my total nv) & 1 for my dad for christmas, but he's already got the rival & i don't want to buy him a ball that serves the same purpose. He complains about his rival hooking too much for him. I'm hoping this ball will get down the lane further & hook a little less.

Momentum is NOT a polish version of the Resurgence.  Not even close.  Compared to a 4000 grit polished Resurgence the Momentum is 7 boards stronger, all on the backend.  Don't drill the ball too weak because the ball clears the front with ease.  The ball motion reminds me of a Storm ball from the past when where the ball clears the front and dependable consistant strong backend.
No I'm not a staff player but threw the ball for few games when a friend was testing the ball.  WINNER

Why wait for a Momentum...just buy a Resurgence and polish it!

Again, the Momentum is not a polish version of the Resurgence.  New cover complete different ball motion.  Momentum is all on the backend while Resurgence is all up front

While I haven't received my Momentum yet, I must say that the Resurgence is not all up front, yes it starts into it's roll earlier, but it continues all the way through the pins, and shined it has even a sharper break point
