Crawling through the wayback machine of the C300 site, they're marketed identically. There are other ball blurbs that seem to say the Titanium ceramic nugget is 20% denser than the OG Ceramicore so possibly the Ti Beast has a tad lower Rg. Doubt much difference is visible on lane.
The Future of Bowling: Bowling is a once-popular tavern game played with a heavy ball and ten pins.

As I recall, (been awhile) the Ti Beast supposedly hit harder due to the denser core.

Even with that being said, I was shocked to find out that the OG Beast had a particle cover!....and I still have one!

Just to clarify, the original beast, then beast pearl were not particle. They were released before particle technology. They came out with a particle version later on.

Pet peeve of mine how confusing it can be to get the right generation of some of the gems what with numerous unofficial remakes that really aren't etc.  Also praying a ball isn't TEC dead and that in the case of the old ceramic or metal inner cores hoping they haven't separated or are about to separate.

Way back when I was a free agent, That purple pearl Beast and the solid Pulse, two all time favorites.

Today, the IQ tour is closest thing I have ever seen to the Pulse shape and reaction, and IQ 30 was similar to the Beast in shape, but core Rg makes it read up earlier.

Truthfully, I think some of the oil technology has caught up to where if there were some NOS particle balls, they would probably roll much better, today. They were too far a head of their time. Just my .02. I would be happy to find a Trauma Recovery or Response, for today's oils. Would be fun to play with.

NIB/NOS particle stuff isn't always easy to come by.  Did get lucky and picked up a NIB Vendetta Maxx for a good price.  Also got a new Raven before Visionary went away.  So far been lucky with the used particle balls I have picked up (still kind of a crap shoot if I match up or not with them).  Definitely buyer beware on some of the older stuff though.

Actually the original Beast was urethane. Thy brought the resin the the following year. Both looked the same as far as color and finish. Only way to tell them apart without throwing them was serial number or to count the number of teeth in the logo. Serial numbers that started 2.... were the urethane.

Exactly.  Having to know about pin colors, looking for tiny differences in logos, or decoding serial numbers to get ball you think you are getting sucks imo.

Thank you everyone.

Tommygn,

Would the IQ tour Emerald be similar to the Pearl Pulse? Thank you
