I have both pieces.

The Arch rival is overall a touch weaker than the Perfect.  The Arch Rival is smoother off the spot but is very continuous.  The Perfect is a touch stronger midlane, not earlier, and sparks off the spot stronger.  The Perfect is more skid flippier than Arch but still controllable.  Columbia doesn't have a whippy out of control ball except for the Dead Flush which is being replaced by the Loud Noize.

All I know is the Perfect Rival will be in my top five ugliest balls made.

I also have both balls and have to say that the perfect for me maybe the ball of the year. The perfect is just as strong in the mid but the back end reaction is more. First match out of box 300-267-234=801. If u have a chance to drill a perfect the name speaks for its self.

I agree with ChrisLak, this ball is best one from C300 since Momentum and cant tell you why exactly but I was struggling to carry in two of my leagues this year and now I have been able to carry and really open up the lane.  It does not remind me of a pearl because of the strength midlane.........Shine it and its not ugly at all....HAHA

Well in BTM it states its not a pearl, but to me its seems more like a pearl than a solid especially when I shined it....

The ball is a solid and reacts like one out of the box at 4000 and really seems to be smooth like the original Rival with more backend, with it shiny it picks up a couple feet later but makes up boards in the back where original Rival just seemed to go longer polish and never get out of the roll stage.

I have all three Rivals, and there is definitely a difference between them, I have drilled all three identical just so I could see for myself the difference.

For me, the Rival is about 5 feet sooner than the Arch Rival, where the Perfect Rival checks up a little sooner than the Arch, they both have the continuatuion through the pin deck that the Rival has but the Perfect isn't as snappy as the Arch.

I hope this helps

What Dale has said matches up with the videos of the Rival and Arch.  And then matches up with the descriptions of the perfect.
