Please help with Action drilling : )
« on: January 09, 2006, 02:10:32 AM »
Hey everyone,

My new Action should arrive Wednesday, and I can't wait. Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to lay it out. I can't remember the box specs off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure it's a 3-4" pin with standard top. Here is my current arsenal:

Flood: MoRich Total Shock & Awe
Medium Heavy:
Medium (Pearl): Storm Paraigm
Medium (BenchmarK): Track Slash
Medium (Skid-snap): Ebonite The One
Medium Light: Brunswick Blazing Inferno
Light: Power Groove Dry/R (arriving soon)
Spares: Brunswick Target Zone

My specs:
High track, speed is from 16.5-18 mph at the pins, depending upon the shot I'm trying to play, revs are average to moderately above average, again, depending on what I'm trying to do.

I want the Action to fill my medium-heavy slot. With that in mind, I don't really need it to get length. I am, however, looking for it to turn the corner hard and offer strong but smooth continuation through the deck. What layout would all of you experts suggest to help me accomplish such a reaction?

I've drilled a few, (12) of them and the best one has been a 55 degree drilling with the pin below the ring finger and the XL 2 1/2 down from my PAP on the VAL.

It's a strong ball in the midlane and also on the backends.
