The Momentum is a reactive Pearl.

The Power Swing looks like another winner from C300.

This ball looks so good.  If I was throwing Columbia it would be in my arsenal.  I'd love to see one of these in action.

As for the Momentum, the Columbia's site doesn't refer to the cover as a pearl except for the colors.  However, in their catalog that pro shops get, it says NE2 Pearl

With Momentum's new NE2 coverstock, more of the ball surface meets the lane. The result is better friction, resulting in greater control in any oil condition. The Momentum comes polished, so its energy is conserved until it reaches the end of the oil pattern. This ball was designed for today's league bowling conditions. It's the dominant league ball that's missing from your bag.

COLOR Purple/Orange/Red Pearl

REACTION Strong Arc

VENEER NE2 Reactive

SURFACE 4000 Abralon Powerhouse Factory Finish

CORE Resurgence Symmetric

LANE CONDITION Any Typical League Pattern

WEIGHTS 12-16

Lets keep in mind marc is on C300 advisory staff and has a few Momentums.  I would think he would know.

I read his profile. I just still find it hard to believe this ball is a solid.

Guess that means I have no pearls in my arsenal. Oh well I guess i'll go drill a Loud Noize.

http://www.ballreviews.com/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ManufacterID=3&BallID=857
It just says reactive, meaning non-pearl

on bowlingballreviews:
http://www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=3374
It says reactive pearl

I would have to trust Marc on this one

Well I contacted a Columbia few days ago, so we'll have a definitive answer soon enough.

Sorry haven't been on here much and I forgot about this. You guys were right the Momentum is a polished solid and not a pearl like I thought.

Next Tuesday our Scratch League is doing a demo with this ball.  We had to sign up for it last night and commit to using it for the night.  Had to also be a regular bowler in the league.  Supposedly they have 2 dozen for right handers and 6 or so for lefties.  High series throwing it for the night gets one of them.
Yes I signed up.  I used to throw a lot of Columbia, but not lately but figured we would give it a look.  Interested in seeing how it is compared to my Sauce.
