Close to the Arch Rival
« on: June 10, 2011, 12:50:04 AM »
Is there anything in the new Columbia line that would be close to the Arch Rival?

Thanks for the help.

I'd try a World Beater with a weaker drilling.  The WB has a stronger cover and is asymmetrical, but the Arch Rival was sneaky-strong at the breakpoint, so with a weaker drilling, you might be able to replicate the motion of the Arch.

Thanks for the help.  I may look into the World Beater.

When comparing balls i like to compare symmetric to symmetric.

I LOVED the arch rival.  One I would check out would be the Outburst. Outburst has a low RG symmetric core like the arch rival. A minor surface adjustment could make this ball very close. Also the new Eruption as well. Both may need a slight tweak of the cover, but could be gems!
