omen vs ransom demand

how does omen compare to it...i demoed RD this summer....liked it alot reminded me of black widow in reaction....now the omen has symetric core....so going to assume it would fit under ransonm demand....or is there really no comparison because it would be like comparing apples to oranges....hmmm

on further reading on forum....i see some people comparing it to outburst....since makes sense both have sysmetric cores

Actually its being compared to Encounter, it earlier than Rd  and Encounter with just as much backend and angularity if not more and thats in oob so im sure would have more overall hook than both

The Omen is nothing like an Encounter or Ransom Demand. The closest ball you can compare it too is an Resurgence or Outburst. Its super early rolling and it is just a monster. Comparing the RD and the Omen, the omen would be better on fresher more volume patterns because of its early roll where the RD will get through the front lane very well and i would say they are close in overall hook just in different parts of the lane

 I've got one on order with my proshop. I've got a Ransom Demand drilled pin up and like the ball but wish it hooked a little earlier. With the Omen I was planning on going pin down and hoping to move a little more inside with it.From looking at the video it looks like it is just what I need.

 Well for me i have them both encounter and omen drilled same and oob my omen is earlier and i got.the same amount of overall hook and entry angle my encounter gave me more length

 would a pin down hook to early and burn up? My Ransom Demand is drilled pin up and goes

No both of mine are pin down and mine is oob,  i know some ppl may compare it to the outburst but this ball ealks circles around my outburst, jus my opinion thats why i put it up against my encounter do not under estimate it this ball is strong

My ball speed is around 15.5. Not sure on the rev rate. Just average tweener.

Kong with you not throwing super hard i would stay away from a pin down layout with the omen because it reads the front part of the lane really really well. You might never find enough oil for it. I'm pretty speed dominant and I had to shine mine up but that is just my 2 cents

I was wondering. I will probably go pin up with it because it hooks earlier. I will try a pin down on a pearl or weaker ball. Maybe I'll try a pin down Encounter since it goes a lot longer.
