Title: Two Ball Arsenal
Post by: thedjs on April 29, 2003, 05:15:44 AM

Whats a good two ball arsenal in the Columbia brand using only reactive balls?
Something for light (not toast)  to med. heavy.  Don't need a heavy oil ball as we seldom
run into that condition in this area.

Any help would be appreciated.

A Wild, or possibly a Scout for lighter, and a Wicked B/R/T or maybe even an Icon 2 for medium heavy.

Kung Fu Hamster X, Jujitsu Guinea Pig, or Legend of Drunken Ferret?  New names still being pondered . . .

Pearl Beast (Better than the Wild or Scout/R)
and Wicked B/R/T (Much less skid/flippy than the original Wicked)

Both of the original FlipSides Wicked and Wild. A one-two punch.

Major DUH!
The Eraser is NOT a Columbia ball.

The Wild is at least two steps down in oil handling and hook power from the Wicked. More like a 1, 3  punch!

Duh! No, Bowling is supposed to be scored like Billiards. Call your pocket. A brooklyn strike is 9, out!

The wicked is pretty strong, bu in box it can slide on some of the lighter heads, as long as they are there. And with a clean bacend it comes back very strong. It is extremely versetile

Columbia makes Track.  My two ball arsenal would be Freak and Freak Out.

Unless you have high speed or face a flood every day, I don't believe that's a realistic, basic 2 ball arsenal:

Try a Mojo and a Hex.

BUT the originator did ask for "Columbia brand"! So the Track family of balls is an invlaid option here.

With my experience being mainly on med-dry to med-oily I would recommend the original Wicked dulled a bit and the Ti-Messenger Pearl Blk/Gold. You can cover a lot of lane conditions with those two balls
