It has the same Side Swipe core with the Bend-it coverstock, which is a great combo. I have used it for a few weeks now on various THS and on a few patterns, and it has nice early pick up, and hooks from every where. The new Tyrant Pearl from Columbia 300 is set to be released at your local pro shops on February 14. If I wanted to make a bowler happy for Valentine's Day, this will definitely do the trick. This is C300's first Hypershock Technology pearl cover, with the very successful Tyrant core. I have used this bowling ball for a few weeks, and really see this has a benchmark and go to bowling ball. It will rank among my favorites, along with the Tyrant. It is very clean in the fronts with strong backend motion. For those who owned the Swerve F/x, the Tyrant Pearl is that on steroids. Definitely a must buy when it becomes available...
