Big Bully: Good on Heavy Oil?
« on: August 29, 2005, 09:24:11 AM »
Super impressed with my Backyard Bully and want to try a heavy oil ball in the Columbia line in the future. Dont see a ton of oil fit for the EPX-T1 so that's out of the question.

Question 1) For those who own some Bullies, if you like one a lot, did you find the others the same? I dont know if it's just the certain ball or drilling on it that I love.

Question 2) Does the Big Bully handle oil well? For some reason, I dont see it handling oil. It may be because there's a guy who throws one at our house, low revs, and it's clean through the heads and most of the midlane and then has a fairly strong backend. Doesn't look, his ball at least, to be capable of handling much more than medium-heavy.

So what say you?

I dont know how the ball I saw was drilled and it didn't seem to be burning up. My Absolute would outhook it though probably means the Big Bully was burning up at least a little. The laneboy put down a ton of oil by (new at the job) and none of my balls would turn the corner( medium oil ablls that is). The Big Bully did turn the corner much harder than any of mine. Thanks for your input.

Any other opinions?

Works well on medium? That doesn't sound like a heavy oil ball...Was it polished or drilled weak?

Can anyone else vouch for this ball?
