Scout Hi Flares...anyone try em?
« on: November 25, 2005, 03:33:52 AM »
Can't find the balls listed for review here.

Mostly interested in hearing about the URETHANE...but if you have used reactive...what's either one like???

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I've found one reviews at bowlingballreviews.com
PPS is the urethane solid or pearl or sort of a mix?  I think I saw it and thought...sort of pearly!

Pearly???  Solidy???

Lots of easy length?

REgards,

PS I had an XXL from lane#1 it was very early and covered a lot of boards smoothly.  Did not get much length even though pearl.  It reminded me of an original inferno with just a touch less hit!

my wife just got the urethane, and she loves it. she's never been a fan of the skid/flippy type reaction, and her super charge and inferno tend to be a little much when they start to dry up. got her the hi flare urethane, she loves it. nice even reaction, nothing drastic, just enough to play down and in with. pretty good carry too. very bright! lol.

LL, I bought my wife one, H/F reactive Scout, drilled it 4 x 3 pin over her ring, it goes about 50 ft then has a hockey stick shape hook to the pocket, very nice ball, she has no problem controlling it.

Major bump here...

Getting one of the Urethane HF's free next week.  It's drilled, but I won't have to redrill it to use it.  Pin is above the fingers so it should be an interesting and refreshing change from my pin below fingers label leverage Sonic X.
