From an arsenal stand-point the Dr. Jekyll might overlap the U-turn pearl, but from a price stand-point it makes perfect sense to have a compliment to the Hyde in the $120 range whereas the U-Turn is in the $150 range.

As a Pro-Shop owner if my customer wants some skid and snap at a lower price, the Dr. Jekyll is a good option, that is if they want a step up from an entry level reactive like a Scout/R.

I did a ball comparison and like I said earlier, the Hyde and the Dr. Jekyl seems to be the same ball. They have the same core, cover, diff, RG and about the same hook rating. This makes no sense to me. Can someone explain this to me..........

Dr Jekyll is pearlized super-flex and the Hyde is solid super flex. That is the major difference. The numbers are all the same for each ball.

I believe that the Hyde, being a solid reactive is a bit more versatile since the cover can be dulled or polished to obtain the desired reaction.

The Dr Jekyll is strictly a pearl reactive and I wouldnt use it on anything but med-dry or broken down conditions.
