Wild for Dry

Is the Wild a good dry lane ball?  How would it compare with a Scout?

The Wild is a very good medium dry to dry lane ball.  As far as I know, it is exactly the same ball as the Scout Reactive.  It has the same cover, same weightblock, and same differential.

Great ball, hits hard...... Light to medium oil, depending on drill pattern..

I believe the Wild has Superflex while the Scouts have a tamer coverstock.

Some minor corrections to the above posts from data available right here on ballreviews.com. Both the WIld and the Scout/R use the Super-Flex coverstock. The Wild does not use mica in the cover. See this review for a very good Wild review:

You could be right Charles, but Columbia make no reference to mica one way or the other.

I know, but Mike Austin did in his review; that's why I referenced it. I trust Mike's information; he is a trusted driller across the country. I believe him when he says such as this.

Does anyone know why the Columbia website describes the two Wild balls differently? One says mild backend and the other says sharp or snappy back end. Just wondering if there was something different in the cover.
