WOOT! Just got my wired yesterday.

Now is the drilling part.

I've a silver streak pearl drilled this way..(left handed drilling)

--P---------
----o---o---
------------
----CG------
------o-----

For med conditions.

Now how am i suppose to drill for my wired to go skid/flip in oil conditions??

Thanks!

These balls are excellent.  I have 3 stashed away since the discontinued them.  The best layout I've found is getting one with a pin 3-4" and stacking it in the grip.  Put the cg in the center of the grip (or a little higher if the pin isn't out that far) and put the pin above and between the fingers.

The ball is so low rg that it revs fast, but this layout delays the reaction til just past the pines.  EXCELLENT BALL

cool. but I'm thinking for a slightly more agressive drilling for heavy. I've med speed and med revs.

I'm afraid that if I put my pin position on top of my fingers it might go too long for on oil. haha.

is it advisable to drill the same as my silver streak?

Sorry skid/flip in oil with a low rg ball. With that information given, what your asking of the ball is very hard. Thw wired was a very underrated and undersold ball and is good from med-hevy to lower mediums. Dev if you are going for a more agressive drill put the pin in a higher flare position. Not knowing if your "heavy oil" lanes have a fresh backend and also length of pattern would be hard to give an accurate drill pattern especially without watching and knowing your game. (i.e., PAP, revs, speed, axis rotation, etc.) I don't see why you couldn't drill it the same way as your SSP and adjust the surface accordingly based upon results. I do not believe it will skid/snap but it is knocking down pins that matters anyways.Good luck
