i have a ransom and pure physics, and want something for the heavier oil i am trying to decide whether to get the taboo or the world beater columbia has been good to me lately.  i had a nasty and sting and did not care for either one, i am a tweener with average rev rates and med. speed. i do not think i have enough hand to have the pin below my fingers. what would my ball reaction be on both with pin above or to side of fingers with mass bias kicked out? any and all help is appreciated

I have a World Beater that is pin up and the MB kicked out.  I bowl in 2 different houses and get 2 completely different reactions.  If there isn't enough head oil, put the ball back in the bag and use something else.  If every house you bowl in lacks head oil, get some polish on the ball so you can use it.  On the right conditions, the ball hits amazingly hard, but on the wrong condition, it never gets into a good roll and my Complete Bedlam outhooks it.  If you're really on heavier oil, the ball should work well for you.

 

I am planning on leaving it in OOB condition until I get back from Reno (leave tomorrow), but I will take it to the Columbia booth out there and see if they suggest altering the surface for Reno or leaving it as is.

why isnt your pure physics working? that is a very strong ball. if that is not hooking you prob either need to rejuvenate and resurface it or that ball is too strong to begin with and is burning up. i would try the R&R before buying a new ball

Well in my opinion the World Beater outhooks a Pure Physics.  It just picks up a lot earlier and has more of a smoother reaction than the Pure.

yes i have picked up the world beater and love the reaction and hitting power i drilled it pin up with mb kicked a little and a weight hole. now i have it covered ransom world beater and pure physics all 3 great balls
