Wrath Dead Flush Q.
« on: February 12, 2008, 01:18:08 PM »
I'm thinking about getting this ball for my wife, and we're getting to fill a gap UNDER a ball she has right now...the Zone Classic. The ZC is drilled pretty strong 4 X 45*, pin down. So my question is this, if we drill this thing with a 5" pin to PAP, and have the pin up, will it hook less overall? She's looking for a little less overall, and more of a skid/snap look. Might sound like a dumb question i guess, but so many times I've tried to fit a ball UNDER something, and the thing hooks too much. let me know. thanks.

Its kinda hard to say really.  I drilled alot of the newer Brunswick Zone balls, Classic, Vapor, Strike, Red, and I currently have the Wrath HF.  The Wrath HF is very strong, similar to what my Vapor Zone was.  I have not thrown the DF but I have seen it by two other people. IMO, it would be too strong, even with the weaker drill, as it doesn't look that much weaker than the HF.  I would do what you want in terms of a skid/flip, but again, IMO, it would overlap.

I think it would be too strong i only have the HF myself, but i do have a classic zone and i think a few of the following would work well.

Jolt Pearl

Neptune

Avalanche solid or pearl

That is current stuff that will work or even a weak drilled uranium hrg at least 5 inch pin to pap

I have both the Wrath High Flush, and the Wrath Dead Flush, and IMO the Dead Flush is stronger then the High Flush. But make sure you drill it pin above fingers to give it the length you want

DF stronger than the HF???  WOW! 'cause my HF is a lot stronger than I expected it to be...

I guess my next step down will be a Jazz then...

Depends.  What's you PAP?  If you are a high tracker, you may have the pin too far away and thus, no hook.
