Anybody had a chance to compare these two balls? I'm looking for length, consistency, and predictability on light oil, and it seems like these two balls fit the bill. But I heard the Freeze can go up to medium. I can get a good deal on either one of these from my shop, so please let me know!
Thanks

Although there are several milder pearls that claim some aspects of consistency and predictablity, even there is some uneveness down lane in the oil and the dry areas, most often a polished mild solid will give much more of these desired characteristics than a pearl will.
Balls, like the Ebonite Red/Black Bash, Lane#1 Chainsaw, and the Visionary Blue/Green Centaur, when polished, will give you more of this sense of control along with length and consistency than most pearls.
The Roto-Grip Mars, being a solid/pearl combo, might have some of these traits.

The Freeze is a monster, bowled yesterday on a fresh conditon ( house shot) and this ball turns hard off the friction
