OOB finish on Big Shot?
« on: March 01, 2007, 05:17:25 PM »
I am a little confused about the OOB finish on the Big Shot. I just got mine drilled up & the finish appears to have some type of polish or compound over the 4000 abralon pad finish. Does anyone know what they use? Columbia's site just says 4000 abralon no polish.

Thanks,

To me, it looks to have a compound finish on it. The surface is alot shinier than  other balls with just a 4000 ab finish. I will say that oob the Big Shot is phenomenal. Swing it and the ball will bring it!!!

No finish on it! 4000 Grit is pretty fine.

It's oob finish is TCS 4000. To get this you take it to TCS Sheen (1000 abralon pad or there 1000 Triz. pad. Then a 2000 abralon pad and then a 4000 abralon pad. Also 4000 abralon is very smooth and looks like there is polish.
