Title: Ballreviews.com on Facebook.
Post by: DP3 on April 19, 2014, 02:34:58 PM
Would BR admins/owners consider starting a ballreviews.com Facebook group? I would be open to helping moderate the group on Facebook, I just did not want to infringe on any copyright or trademark of the name without approval from admins.  I think it would be a great tool for helping drive some traffic to this site and bring some people in the industry with some credible knowledge into these forums.

Great idea, but are you kidding me? This site has driven off guys like Jeff Carter to name a few. We have so many 180 avg, gold level coaches on this site, just ask them, they will tell you. I dont know why JustRico even posts here anymore, hes forgotten more than most on this site will ever know and he constantly gets lip.

I have forgotten thus why I return (: I've learned to be more lax in regards to some and I appreciate the 'friends' I've acquired thru the muck and the mire....I realize those that I've been able educate and make bowlers & ball drillers 'better'...what I have to offer is no longer as a bowler but more so a facilitator of some knowledge I've acquired over the decades....otherwise, f#%k I have no idea why I'm still here (:

"I have forgotten thus why I return"

Hope that continues.

I was telling my brother the other day I would have never imagined 15 years ago that the internet and social sites would be to a point where someone can have access to professionals in a given field to talk to and learn from. My other older hobby is car audio and on many of the forums you get to talk with industry reps ect and really get a better in site into a lot of things.

That thought is lost on some people who do not understand how fortunate we are for that.

My theory is, getting rid of anonymity will encourage better behavior and better overall discussion.  The knuckleheads will weed themselves out.

What I find comical on social sights are the individuals that believe them to be reality..most can't function in the 'real' world and try to exist there...some being in the industry...rather sad
