is it possible to make a topic sticky???
« on: June 28, 2004, 04:35:45 AM »
Some message boards have the capability of making some messages "sticky" - that is, they don't go away.

There have been some notable posts in the past few months that I have tried to refer to, only to be stopped by the lack of any search capability past 30 days ago.

For example, there was one thread I started about drilling information. Several ballreviews members took the time to post extensive detail about ball layout and drilling to this post. It got really long - with all the information you'd ever want. Now, I can't get to it because it hasn't been modified in 30 days. Sigh. All that info gone.

Try rollrite.com---The Author recommended it and he's my pro shop operator. VERY good, conscientious, and a good all around egg to boot.

Thanks, MI - I found the message - but was just wondering if we could make some topics sticky...
So none of us would have to hunt for info that LL gave us in that post!

Don't hold your breath Mumzie.  Your asking, basically, for a FAQ and that request has gone without response for what, months?

Does someone have a webpage we could use to create a FAQ and just periodically post the link to it on here?
