Title: Permanent and Irrevocable Block User Function

Is there a function that can be built that permanently and irrevocably blocks a user? I really want to block a few folks and don't even want to see posts that I can click on to read. Can this be accomplished, please?

I'm serious. I want this function. I'm sick of Long Gone Daddy and his pathetic antics. He either needs to be permanently barred or give me the ability to block him completely from my site and so I can't see him either. At least make it like facebook where we're invisible. Please?!

I concur... When the site did it's last major "update" I found myself spending much less time here. 

While it's nice to have non-bowling related topics excluded from the recent posts list,   the ignore feature leaves a lot to be desired...

We apologize for the delay getting back.  We have sent the message over to our tech department for further review.  Once we have more information on this, we will let you know.

Ok, we have made changes so that users who are in your block list will now have their posts completely blocked in any topic you read. If they're quoted by someone else it is going to show up. Also, if they have started a topic, that topic won't show up in the board index or in the "Show unread posts" area.

If you want someone's posts to be hidden, add them to your ignore list (http://www.ballreviews.com/index.php?action=profile;area=lists;sa=ignore) and make sure "Hide messages posted by members on my ignore list." is checked here (http://www.ballreviews.com/index.php?action=profile;area=theme). If you don't want pm's from them, select "All members, except those on my ignore list" from the "Receive personal messages from:" dropdown here (http://www.ballreviews.com/index.php?action=profile;area=pmprefs).

The only step I would add is that we don't see them at all, even if they post something. I don't even want to read their names. LOL

Please change to block function again to where we can't even see when they post, please. Either, that or ban Long Gone Daddy
