Ok, I've about had it. In the last week at least three times I've written pretty lengthy replies to bowling related question. Replies that vanished into the ether when the site went down. Common guys, at least look like you're trying to run a decent site.

I wrote a 5 ball comparison last week that was at 8 paragraphs long went to post it poof gone nothing nada!!! It took my 30 minutes and did not even make it to the board i gave up and did not post.

copy and paste is your friend. Standard practice on most boards that i frequent.

Agree with stanski.
Once I get into a lengthy reply, just for caution's sake, I cut and paste what I wrote into a dummy Notepad or Workpad buffer. Even though I have a cable modem, sometimes it goes --- blip! and my connection goes SOuth. I've lost too many in the past.
I don't know whose fault it is; and it doesn't really make any difference. We all know better. Why take chances to get yourself stressed out, especially when you try to recreate the exact flavor of what you had written and you can't recall every detail of evey phrase.
Been there, done that. HATE that feeling of loss. not gonna happen again, ever!

I've tried C & P and it's gone down before I could copy. Fine if it works, but I've about had it with writing any response over 3 lines long.
