Title: 1500 grit polished (mystery solved)
Post by: icewall on November 07, 2010, 09:00:48 PM
I was told last year by storm that their balls that come 1500 polished are rated by the P scale.
this would mean that it is literally in between 1000 and 2000 abralon.

the "grit" inside step 2 compound by storm is 320 grit. so this 1500 grit rating is not to be confused with 1500 grit then raising to a higher grit when applied on a spinner. it starts at 320 grit and then further breaks down to eventually leave the balls surface at 1500 grit polished.

hopefully this helps us understand storms OOB surface so now when someone asks we can give them the correct information.
