« on: March 21, 2005, 09:46:38 AM »
I have burgundy, green and grey scotchbrite pads.I also have clean and dull, clean and polish, and black magic polish. My friend has a dulled up xxx.He wants to get it to box finish .Can I get it down with what I have? Or should I get sandpaper?I just made a ball spinner so my whole team wants me to take care of there stuff.Lucky me LOL!! Anyother suggestions would be appreciated thanks!

scotchbrites you have are: Burg - 320, Green - 600, Grey - 1000.
You could get close with the grey and clean n polish but I would get some 1500 paper and use that along with the clean and polish.

I find that I get about the same reaction with 2000 grit dull as the Storm box 1500 polished so that is an option also and I find that it is easier to repeat.
