Today I received my trial size as well as the ball plug cutter that I bought from Bean's. Yes, it took a little longer than I expected, but....we had quite a snowstorm in the area last week. Everything shut down last Thursday and Friday. Things are returning to normal now. I'm going to try the secret sauce on a Radical Inferno and report the results.

By hand this stuff is awesome. By spinner this stuff is amazing!

.. it actually works by hand. No lie.

Ask me any questions if you have any. I'd be glad to help.

Well, actually, I have a question. Can a neutrino be exchanged for
an antineutrino and a Z boson? Or are Z bosons neutral in isospin?
What about two Z bosons, rotating with a different isospin? Is there
any way this can happen?

The answer is no. A nutrino and antinutrino can be replaced by a z boson though. As far as the isospin is that with neg or pos sideweight?

I had the same experience, ordered mine on 2/13/07
and just received mine on friday 2/23/07.
When i contacted beans on 2/21/07 he was very
apoligetic about the problem because he got slammed
with a lot of orders and got behind on shipping.
This was my first time buying from him and i didn't
believe there would be a problem because i know he is
a regular on this site and has good feedback to my
knowledge.
Anyway all is ok and if this polish is as good as beans
says it is, i will be buying some more.

Well I have my own spinner and used some tonight and looks pretty sweet, I took the ball from 1000 abralon to polished and its more shinny now then when I had the ball at 2000 with neotac "control it" brand polish. Just a HINT: DAMPEN THE CLOTH FIRST, at first as soon as the polish hit the ball would go right away, I hit the cloth with some water then beans polish and I was in business, well see how it works on the lanes tuesday but as for the delay in shipping and hows good it looks now I'm pretty happy! thanks eric

Hi Guys!!

Thanks for the orders and the reviews.

I do appologize for the delay in shipping but with the snow and then the overwhelming amount of orders I received...I just got behind. I fill every bottle by hand and until I figured out the best way it took a while. Now I am flyingt hrough them and I am also building up a big enough stock I can ship out next day. I am also looking into getting my bottles screen printed so they look more professional.  Also, I ran out of my whole inventory of 16 oz. bottles and had to send (2) 8 oz bottle instead to some people. The new bottles should be in this week. It is a different look on the 16 oz. bottle.  IT will not be a red bottle with a long pour spout. Thanks and please post all comments....Good and bad.....Thanks

I don't know if this is the right place to post a review, but since a couple of people on the thread asked for feedback on Bean's Secret Sauce, I'll post it here.......

I purchased a ball plug cutter from Bean's late last week. Since he was a little late in shipping, he threw in a 4 oz. sample of the secret sauce.

Here's my opinion on the sauce:

I decided to use the sauce on a few balls to get a good idea of the performance of the sauce. These balls were the Rotogrip Silver Streak SE, the Radical Inferno, and the Hammer Toxic.

Silver Streak SE....I have always experienced too much over/under with this ball. The ball comes factory polished but it squirted too much, or jumped off the end of the pattern. If I dulled the ball, it would burn up too quick and hit like a wet noodle. Using a spinner, I took the ball down with 400 grit wet sandpaper for a nice smooth surface and applied the Bean's sauce to a slightly damp cloth. This sauce shines any ball to a mirror finish in a few seconds. The ball also has a tacky feel. On the lanes, the ball exhibited none of the former squirt that it had when previously polished. This ball will actually go back in my bag for use.

Radical Inferno....Just about the results as above. The polish is a definite improvement over my previous attempts to adjust this coverstock. The ball looks great. However, this is just one of those balls that I do not seem to match up to very well. Not knocking the Radical, it's just not my style.

Hammer Toxic....now this is a nice little ball for the money. Really turns the corner and hits hard. This is my newest ball. The factory shine was starting to wear off, so I gave the ball a hot water bath, let it dry, and took the sauce to it. The ball shines up to a mirror finish and tacky feel. I was worried that the ball was just going to sail because of the high gloss, but the shine does not appear to affect the reaction of the ball. I never saw any squirt; the ball is just as strong off the breakpoint as ever. It just looks better!

Once the secret sauce is left to stand for a period of time, the ingredients separate in the bottle. There is a clear liquid (water?) that rises to the top. A quick shake of the bottle prior to application mixes everything up OK. I used the same slightly damp cloth for each application. The cloth will 'cake' up with residue from the sauce. According to Bean's this is what you want, and you can sometimes just wet the cloth and apply it to a ball for a quick shine.

Conclusion: In my opinion, this is the best polish that I have seen on the market in some time. I have Ebonite polish, Storm polish, and Track polish. Bean's Secret Sauce beats them all in ease of application and (IMHO) performance.  I think that pro shops would love this stuff, because you can polish up a ball to look really nice (and everyone likes the look of the shine) without an adverse reaction. I don't care what it's made of, the end result should be the deciding factor.

I have no affiliation with Bean's, nor do I know him other than the ball cutter and trial size transaction.

I got my sauce and finally got to try it out on the lanes.  I used mine by hand to refresh the polish on my Smoking Inferno, TNV and spare ball.  The Smokin had about 60-80 games on it since I had the proshop repolish it last, the TNV had about 30 games on it since I bought it, both were in oob.

I saw the same thing as others here; easy to use and puts on a nice shine even without a spinner, but the ball doesnt skate on the lanes like a freshly polished ball.  Both balls had a nice tacky feel to them, gripped the lane and got the same amount of length I usually get.  In the past ive used Neo tacs renew-it to keep the shine on my polished equipment.  Its a cleaner with a little polish in it and works well, however I would need to put at least a game on the ball to wear off some of the shine and get a consistent reaction.  With Beans sauce, I didnt have to do that and got the roll I wanted on the first shot.  It was also very easy to use by hand with just a damp terry cloth.

I wish I had the sauce for a tourney last month on lightly oiled wood lanes.  I could of used this between sets and not had to worry about the ball skating past the break point for the first few throws.  It also can be used on the fly which is nice.  Instead of carring a ton of equipment around, I prefer to keep a strong solid reactive in the bag along with assorted abralon pads.  With the addition of the sauce I can adjust the surface and add polish as needed no matter where im at to suit the conditions as needed.  This is a nice feature when you travel to a lot of different houses like I do, and is very hard to do with other polishes, Ive tried..

The only ball I preferred Black Magics polish was on my spare ball.  I throw strait at everything and want that skate on my spare.  I can use the BM polish by hand and that skate will last for least 3 games.  Of course that is again by hand and not using a spinner.

I recommend people give the sauce a try, especially if you like to be able to change ball surfaces on the fly or do coverstock maintenance, and you dont have access to a spinner.
