a question about valentino's remedy rx....
« on: January 07, 2009, 08:56:04 PM »
so i'm at my pro shop yesterday and i have a black widow bite that needed cleaning, so i hit it with a grey scotch brite pad to clean the surface up a bit. had some of the remedy rx sitting around that i haven't tried yet so i thought i'd try it. when i applied it i used a regular terry cloth towel, and i put about a dime sized portion on the towel and repeated on the other side. question is this: is it normal for the ball to attain almost a sheen look after using remedy rx? it was almost like it had a hint of polish in it, although it was very thin in consistency. if so, should i allow for this in my under lying grits, ie: if i want 1000 grit then use 800 grit with remedy? one thing i can say is that it increased length and backend considerably, and the ball looked brand new after cleaning. anybody else try remedy rx?
