Resurrection................

I'm looking at getting this stuff and snake oil. Now do I leave the ball in box condition then apply resurrection and snake oil or do I need to sand the ball to a certain grit before applying this stuff?

Resurrection will take any surface 400 grit to 4000+ grit and finish the surface at an 800 grit sheen. Anything under 400 and Resurrection's sanding particles just don't have the muscle to sand out the previous grit.

So to answer your question, nope, just use Resurrection on the surface as is.

What would be the difference between 800 grit sheen and 800 grit dull? btw, the
800 grit sheen really looks a lot higher (grit) to me for some reason.

800 grit sheen means the ball is at 800 grit plus a small amount of polish to remove the dull/dry look from the ball. Many heavy oilers are given a sheen finish oob, this allows the ball to travel through the mid lane better.

You can achieve a dull 800 grit with Resurrection by hand, on a spinner the polish kicks in and provides the sheen finish.
