ball spinner Question

im thinking about ordering a ball spinner and i had a question.. when applying polish to a ball what do you use? a abralon pad? or can you use a towel?

but I would imagine that most people would go from 500 stepping all the way to 4000.

therefore you would need a 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000 abralon pad and a gritless polish. ebonites factory finish is good and is the only company (or other companies that it ebonite owns) that i can think of that has balls coming from the factory at 4000 polished.

Some of the manufacturers are now using 500 abralon followed by the desired grit (1000, 2000, 4000).  For me, this method works much better, I see much better results by following this formula
