If I use Clean and Dull there are no oil rings plus it is really tacky. Remedy in my opinion does not leave the ball tacky nor pulls oil off the ball well.

Beating up on mastergunner here is a little unfair. I concur with his opinion that Remedy is not quite up to snuff with C&D. Nor is it with Hook-It for that matter.

It doesn't mean that Remedy isn't a decent cleaner. I find it to be an adequate cleaner at the alley to use before I pack up and go home. On the plus side, it smells good and is convenient to use. It just means some of us have used other products we feel are more aggressive cleaners. I'm a fanatic with respect to cover maintenance and cleaning, so I'm trying to be fair in this assessment.

I'm a huge fan of Snake Oil and Resurrection, so this has nothing to do with Valentino bashing. We should all feel comfortable discussing the good and not so good about any product. Valentino Bowling overall has become a big hit in Ballreviews, and it's become almost sacrilegious to say anything remotely negative about their products.

Let's calm down and be willing to hear all sides.

Not "beating him up" .. far from it.  Just find it difficult to believe a cleaner, in this case, Remedy, doesn't remove an oil ring.  I was stating the fact a clean towel will remove a ring, though it may 'spread' it around (depends upon the type of towel), it will will absorb/remove most of the oil.  Now add a cleaner, albeit any cleaner (even rubbing alcohol) will remove dirt and grime.  Therefore I and others questioned his use of the product to get a better understanding of why he feels it doesn't work.

I share the same sentiment towards my equipment as well.  I have been using C&D (pre Powerhouse era) as well as Power Wash along with products from Storm etc. all with a great deal of success.  I find Valentino products to be equal if not better than the many of the others.

I don't think their product come under any more scrutiny than others.  Many posts have been made either way (though majority are positive).  When you hear/read the opposite, just like someone stating an advertised hooking ball doesn't hook for them but does for many others, you tend to question not so much the ball, but other variables.  This case isn't any different.  Not stating his opinion doesn't matter, but trying aid by asking how he formed such as a means of constructive assistance.

No harm, no foul  If the intent was viewed otherwise, I do apologize.

We honestly have no explanation why your bottle of Remedy Rx didn't work, we've had only 2 complaints from that 700 bottle batch.

We offered you a refund or replacement, so we shipped out the free replacement bottle from a new batch personally test by me. I also said that if this second bottle isn't up to your expectations we'll issue a refund if you return both bottles.

We sent out the replacement bottle in November and this is the first we've heard that your second bottle wasn't up to par. The refund offer is still on the table.

Kevin I appreciate the offer but the shipping alone is more than the refund, thanks though. Again I am not bashing Valentino Bowling. Heck I am going to get some pads from him to use here shortly. I might try this UFO stuff. Again it was just my opinion. I will stop now.
