It is listed in the USBC for approved cleaners, but not during competition as it has solids in it.

I can't find any other references using google andother web searches .. so far.

However, as per usual, $6.75 for shipping is yet another Ebay insult.

quote:

This New product is truly amazing! Lane Ice can help you overcome Dry and Broken down lane conditions by providing "Extra Length" for your bowling ball and yet still retain a strong backend reaction.

Unlike most Polishes and Cleaners on the market, Lane Ice is a specially formulated "Slip Agent" that will coat your bowling ball and help it to resist the high friction areas on the lanes. Lane Ice will help to even out your bowling balls reaction and get you threw those "over/under" lane conditions.

If this stuff is a slip agent that helps resist high friction areas on the lane (aka the backends), then how does it allow the ball to retain a strong backend reaction?  This seems to be one of the cases where people figure that if they write enoough garbage that it will all blend together and sound good...

if you want something to fight dry lanes and get a little more length out of a ball i been using the ebonite powerhouse extender polish.  I have been using this for months now and it really ads length and control to a ball.

I'm going to stick to Track, Storm, and Columbia polishes, cleaners, etc.
