Ok, full disclosure before beginning. I've got a machine at home, and I've watched every stinking video on sanding that is on the "guaranteed true" internet.... but that in no way means I know what the $%& I'm doing when sanding. I currently use CTD pads and am mostly impressed. They do get dirty, but seem to last a bit longer than SIAAir or Abralon.
Please comment on the following video I found from CTD.
It's basically, "hey, use our conditioner and all you need to do is up and down once per ball side with the pad, so the pad life is therefore extended...."
CTD stuff can be pricey, especially LAD which basically wants you to use half a bottle per ball. Is the conditioner worth it? How many preople actually use it?

Honestly I have used Tru Cut pads for about a year now and never used the conditioner. Since the pads are "true", I just use light pressure when sanding the ball by hand and then make sure to smack the pad against something to get a lot of the dust out of it. I use the pad every week before league starts (just bowl the 3 games a week) and I can get the pad to last at least a couple months if not longer before I feel I need to purchase another pad. I purchased an 8 oz bottle of WOW Factor Ball Cleaner and it lasted me about an entire league season. I obtained a bottle of Life After Death about a month ago. Even though Hickland states leave it on for 30 seconds, there has been a couple times I left it on for closer to a minute and it definitely soaks into the ball as advertised. From my experiences so far, CTD products are worth the cost.
