« on: February 12, 2018, 07:35:10 PM »
Any one use any of the newer CTD products?  I see since that purple stuff, there is so fresh and so clean tackifier, and that wow factor more hook, and that wow factor less hook.

Haven't used the cleaners and not a fan of hook increasing or decreasing tonics but the TruCut pads are excellent. I prefer to use them by hand and they deliver excellent results.

I started using TruCut pads a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love them.  So much better than Abalon or SiaAir pads.
However, if you purchase any be sure to take a permanent marker and go over the factory grit indicated.  Why, after I washed the pad the factory ink faded to where I cannot read the original grit.  Hard to tell a 1000 grit from the 2000 grit when there is no marking.

Maybe try at abralon.net for CTD pads.  If I remember right, I think they are cheaper but they don't carry all of the grits.

You're talking about JOST UseIt pads. It was from Abralon.net but they don't sell them as JOST UseIt anymore, they sell them as CTD TruCut. Looks like CTD bought the branding rights or something. I believe that the people making the JOST pads are the people making the TruCut for CTD. There is more variety in the TruCut range which makes me think maybe CTD did some R&D for JOST and they now handle the branding. Some of the TruCut pads I have have the old UseIt branding on them.
