Title: Equivalent Grit

Looking for the equivalent grit (no polish) to the OOB of 2000+polish.
All input is appreciated.

2000 + polish is going to be pretty weak (depending on which polish) so I'd guess something like 2000, 3000, 4000 might be close, but certainly not equivalent, due to the slip agents most polishes contain.

The more time you spend with the weaker grits the more it will smooth out the previous step...

Might need to get yourself a 5k pad.  Use a trizact for mine.  Lasts forever.

Depends on toomany variables: how strong the polish is, how much you use, how hard you press and for how long.

I'd guess anywhere from 4500 - 6000 grit.
