Plug work on Particle balls?
« on: September 30, 2008, 11:31:10 AM »
My PRO SHOP has encouraged me not to plug my Granite Gargoyle because the PLUG MIX is not very good on particle balls. The ball will definitely roll over the plug work. ANY SUGGESTIONS???????????????

Honestly this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.  I have plugged numerous particle balls and never had any issue.  I think your pro shop guy may just not want to do it.

Your driller may not want to do it because he has problems smoothing plugs in the track area. If not done right it will definitely make some noise going down the alley.
