Track Clean-N- Dull......
« on: April 27, 2005, 12:41:13 PM »
is it better to use it by hand or on the spinner. The label says you can do either, but I just wanted to know which gives better results. Maybe someone can help me that has tried both ways. Thanks, Tim

I have used it both ways. Maybe I didn't rub well enough, but I thought I got a better job on the spinner. It's easier, and if you do several balls, it saves time.

I would advise putting it on by hand and wiping it off by hand. If you use a spinner, after 2-3 times your ball will begin developing a sheen to the cover. It will start looking like you gave it a real-real light polishing job and this will effect the performance of your ball. Especially on dull balls.

I like to use Clean n Dull on the spinner for polished balls. Ofcourse, as was already mentioned follow it up with water to clean the residue off of the ball.

For dull, or matte finishes I prefer to do it by hand. Clean n Dull, a scotchbrite pad and very little pressure deep cleans a ball tremendously!!!
